Suno to Music Video — turn your song into a directed clip | ClipChat

Turn your Suno song into a directed music video

Export your track as MP3 or WAV, upload the file, and ClipChat reads the lyrics, energy and song sections, shapes a treatment with you, then generates timed scenes into a finished clip.

Export your Suno track → upload the file → get a video cut to the song's structure. ClipChat needs the audio file, not a Suno link.

Pipeline

What actually happens to your track

This is the part generic "AI video" tools skip. ClipChat runs a real music-video pipeline over the model, not a one-pass visualizer.

01
It hears the song
ClipChat listens to the audio — genre, energy, instruments, language and what the lyrics mean — and splits the track into sections: intro, verse, chorus, drop. Not a beat detector — comprehension.
02
Treatment & story
A director agent proposes a treatment — the visual story and mood that fit the song — and you shape it in chat before any scene is generated.
03
Storyboard
A shot-by-shot storyboard and character bible are built and tied to the song's sections — review the plan before you spend a render.
04
Consistent cast
Character portraits and turnaround sheets keep the same artist and characters looking consistent across every scene.
05
Scenes on the structure
Each section becomes a scene, generated and cut on the song's structure — with optional per-scene lip-sync so the artist appears to perform the lyrics.
06
Assembled clip
Scenes are stitched into a finished vertical video with your original track laid over the top, ready to download.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Do I paste a Suno link or upload a file?

Upload the file. Export your track from Suno (or use any MP3/WAV) and upload it — ClipChat works from the audio, not a streaming link.

How do I export my track from Suno?

In Suno, open your song and use Download to save the audio, then upload that MP3 or WAV file here. Any track you have the rights to works.

Is this beat-synced to every beat?

No. There's no beat detection — the cuts land on the song's structure (verses, choruses, drops), and each scene is generated to its planned length. It follows the song's shape, not a per-beat grid.

Can the artist actually perform the song?

Yes — optional per-scene lip-sync drives a character's mouth from the track, so the performer appears to sing or rap the lyrics. Lip-sync quality can vary.

What resolution do clips render in?

480p vertical (9:16), built for TikTok, Reels and Shorts — not broadcast masters. Higher resolution is on the roadmap.

Is ClipChat affiliated with Suno?

No. ClipChat is an independent product and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Suno. "Suno" is a trademark of its respective owner; it's named only to describe the supported input — an exported audio file.

Honesty

Honest limitations

Why we built this

Music generators like Suno got great fast, but the video half stayed slideshow visualizers. We wanted the thing over the top: give it a track and it directs a real clip — treatment, storyboard, consistent characters, scenes cut to the song's shape. It's not magic, and it's not a black box — you shape the treatment, review the storyboard, and only then spend a render. That workflow is the whole point of ClipChat.
